Rake Your Bagger
The current bagger trend is leaning towards long, chopped, low bikes that take the old man image out of the old man bike we love to ride!
Corso Cycles can make your bagger long, lean and low in a couple different ways.
Here are a couple of combinations that provide for Trail and handling characteristics which are similar to those of stock Harley Dressers. Every deviation made affects handling, but done right, you can achieve a look that is cool, while still being able to handle well.
Rake using Trees only
Pros
- No frame cutting
- Easier to install
- Affordable (parts range about 700 dollars)
- Allows for installation of 21 and 23 Inch wheels
- Utilize stock fork tubes and legs
Cons
- Limited to rakes that are on the market currently
- Generally require modification of the stock fairings on Road Glides and Street Glides.
- Can rake to a max of 5 over stock utilizing one brand of trees, and 6 over stock on another.
- Doesn’t allow for the installation of a 26” Wheel
Rake using a new neck
Pros
- Allow you to utilize stock fork tubes and stock trees.
- Allow you to go as wild as you want on the rake, going as high as 42 degrees total overall rake. Stock baggers are built with 26 degrees in the frame, and 4 in the trees.
- Generally, you can get away without modifying the stock style fairings.
- Allows for the installation of a 26” wheel.
Cons
- Requires you to lower the bike up to 2 inches front and rear to achieve level ride height and correct trail numbers to allow for a safe and comfortable ride.
- You must cut your frame. The necks we use allow for the VIN to be untouched. The VIN is visible through a window in the new frame section.
